The CWU College of Arts and Humanities, the CWU Horn Club, and the CWU Music Department will host the return of the cutting edge horn quartet, Genghis Barbie. Heralded as “the leading post post-feminist feminist all-female horn experience, the most innovative and energizing chamber ensemble of its generation and beyond,” Genghis Barbie delivers a visceral and unadulterated musical adventure.
Featuring music by Queen, Whitney Houston, Chappell Roan, Brandi Carlisle, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Imogen Heap, Alison Krauss, Demi Lovato, Stevie Wonder, the Beach Boys, Eurythmics, and more.

Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at The Ink// An Incubator for Creativity.
What is The INK? It is a space used to house creative minds and produce art. Gallery One, Ellensburg Community Radio, Manastash Media, Blue Bear Puppet Lab share space there.
Ellensburg Community Radio will be broadcasting on the street from their new speakers. ECR will be showing local band videos from known local acts such as Cobrahawk, Star Anna, Screaming Trees, and many more.
Join Blue Bear Puppet Lab for the Winter Night Parade. The Winter Night Parade will be at 6pm on First Friday, February 7. It will begin from the back of the Ink and proceed down 4th to Unity Park. Please come at least an hour early if you want to be a part of the fun!
