 “An Evening with Cheech Marin: A Life of Art, Culture and Entertainment,” Come hear Cheech’s perspective on comedy, film and Chicano art.  Part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. 7 p.m., Doors open at 6:30. 

 

Where the Forest Meets the Road @ CWU Museum of Culture and Environment.  .Please join Central Washington University’s (CWU’s) Museum of Culture and Environment for a celebration of the biologists behind their newest exhibit, Where the Forest Meets the Road. This exhibit tells the story of wildlife crossings along Interstate 90 (I-90)—including how CWU Biology students and faculty are helping the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and their partners monitor wildlife living along the roadway.

10th Annual Museum and Archives Tour, meet at the Brooks Library parking lot at Central Washington University to board the shuttle at 9am. Free event. Registration required by emailing archive@cwu.edu. Event is limited to 15 participations. Transportation provided. 9AM-1PM

 

Unity Park Grand Opening, 4th Ave. and Pearl Street, Ellensburg.  Family friendly ceremony and celebration.  There will be live music, dance, singing and art demonstrations. Free.  Music starts at 12:30PM Ceremony Starts @ 1PM.
